NASA engineers called the Soyuz-FG rocket an engineering marvel. They watched its pre-launch preparations at Baikonur.
Two days later, the rocket will deliver the crew into orbit. The launch is scheduled for 10:41 p.m. Moscow Time. Cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin will take part in the expedition as well as NASA astronauts Christina Koch and Nick Hague. It will be his first expedition.
