The tests are not completed yet, but the American media are already writing: The most formidable submarine Kazan will conduct test shooting in the autumn. Kazan and Knyaz Vladimir are two nuclear shipbuilding objects, which draw special attention.

Knyaz Vladimir is the major submarine of the Borei A project. 16 ballistic missiles "Bulava" with the damage radius of 5,600 miles. It's way more quiet than its predecessors. That very global parity and reliable border protection that President Putin talked about are the result of years of work.

Artyom Simonov: “The production cycle is technologically determined with manufacturing from the initial stage to the final, with equipping a submarine with mechanisms, electronics and conducting hydraulic testing.”

The list of completed orders of Sevmash includes more than 130 atomic-powered vessels. Russia's nuclear marine component continues to be actively supplemented. Now, the testings of Knyaz Vladimir and Kazan are on hold due to adverse ice conditions They will continue at the end of spring and finish in the summer. After that, both submarines will be released to the Navy.
