Yes! No Terrorists Left To Boмb Damascus

A few hours ago, the Syrian Army began the final stage of the operation to liberate the Yarmouk Camp near Damascus. Over the past 6 years, it remained a stronghold for the terrorists attacking the Syrian Capital. Once the terrorists lose Yarmouk, they will lose their final key position in the South East of Syria. For the first time since the beginning of the war, Damascus won't be a near-front city.

Right now, we have our special correspondent, Yevgeny Poddubniy, reporting live from there.

- Zhenya, hello! Is the fighting going on in Yarmouk right now? And how will the liberation of this area influence the situation in the country on a larger scale?

- Ernest, hello! I must say that there's no fighting going on right now. The Syrian Army soldiers are examining the buildings that are located in Yarmouk, trying to locate any groups of the so-called ISIS fighters that may be plotting terrorist attacks. They are suicide bombers and may either deploy self-made explosives or open fire at the government army soldiers who have already occupied the entire territory of this region, but first things first.

The operation to liberate city wards in the south of Damascus went on for over a month. It's just 8 km from the downtown and we can finally pretty much say that Damascus is turning from a near-front into a peaceful city. The Syrian capital is now living without war. The people that used to be subjected daily to missile attacks and mortar shelling are now living in safety. The city is just now getting used to this. It's also worth noting that along the Yarmouk Camp's perimeter large government forces were deployed that can now be regrouped, reinforced, and relocated onto other sections of the frontline where active fighting still goes on. Overall, this will definitely have a positive impact in the fight against terrorism for the soldiers of the Syrian Army. Ernest.

- Zhenya, thank you. Our special war correspondent, Yevgeny Poddubniy, told us about the rescue operation of the Yarmouk Camp, the last terrorist stronghold near Damascus.
