Today, Ukrainian radicals attacked the building of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Kiev. The surveillance cameras captured several dozen people breaking the front doors. Inside, they painted the walls and wreaked havoc.

That's what the head of the center, Konstantin Vorobyov, told us.

A group of radicals broke into the building of the Russian Center of Science and Culture. They shouted extremists slogans the main of which were "death to Russia," "get out of here," "pack your things and go away." They interrupted the rehearsal for a children's play. There were also Russian lessons in session at that moment. The group was headed by the Verkhovnaya Rada Radical Party deputy Luzovoy. They encouraged physical violence against the employees and visitors of the center. All our stands and agitation were damaged or completely destroyed, as well as our exhibitions.

The OCSE monitoring mission representatives arrived quite fast. They recorded everything, we're communicating with them. We tried to explain that we work according to an intergovernmental agreement concluded between Russia and Ukraine in 1998. According to this agreement, in Moscow, on Arbat St., a Ukrainian Culture Center has been working successfully and quietly for many years. But it was for nothing. Now, we're preparing several documents together with the police. We can't just leave it this way. But we aren't sure that someone will be detained or punished for what was done.
